ESOL Tertiary

A visit to a Museum can be an enriching learning experience for students of all ages.  Our Museum offers insight into the history of a nation through special objects or taonga and storytelling.

We offer a range of learning experiences for groups of 10 or more ESOL or Tertiary students. These can be as simple as a self-guided trail where your students find particular objects in the Museum or a programme tailored to suit your needs. Working with our Educators can offer you access to Museum experiences that most visitors would not normally have.

Some programmes you might like to consider are:

Learn about New Zealand’s rich maritime heritage, and the part it has played in our history.

Take a cruise on a vessel generously sponsored by Ports of Auckland and see their thriving wharves.

The way we interact with visitors impacts on the way the world perceives New Zealand.
